The World Champions of ODI format Australia will take on Caribbean in the third match of ICC World Twenty20 here at Kennington Oval.

Aussies are eying to create history after winning this year's T20 World Cup. If they clinch the title they will be Champions in all the formats.

On the other hand, Chris Gayle-led West Indies are rated underdog in this mega event but the former World Champs have the ability to beat any side in the world.

However, Australia received a jolt just before the starting of the tournament as its one of the important all-rounder Andrew Symonds was sent back home after found guilty of breaching team discipline.

Baggy Green have good combination of young and senior players. They have several devastating players like David Warner, Michael Clarke, Mike Hussey, Ricky Ponting and Brad Haddin. Aussies have also best bowling attack led by Brett Lee. Lee is ably supported by Mitchel Johnson and Nathan Breaken.

Apart from this, West Indies team is also looking very strong on the paper. They have Gayle as an experienced campaigner while Ramnaresh Sarwan and Shivnarain Chanderpaul will support the team in the middle order.

Gayle had slammed first ton of inaugural Twenty20 World Cup against South Africa.
