India takes on Ireland in the 12th and the final league match (Group A) of ICC World Twenty20 2009. The match is Scheduled to begin at 16.30 GMT at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
Date: 10 Jun 2009
Group A
India vs Ireland
Trent Bridge, Nottingham
India and Ireland both the teams enters into the super eight, since both the teams won against Bangladesh in their initial matches. Indian team has been in certain disaster like Shewag is out due to injury.
There is some politics in the Indian team between Captain Dhoni and other 3 players, Harbhajan, Rohit Sharma and Shewag. There is some reason behind shewag out of the tournament.
Dhoni doing some foolish thing by changing batting order especially Raina down the order, while he taking the 1st down. Last match the run rate is around 10 while 1st wicket is down, but as the Dhoni comes it will drop down to 7 runs per over.
Indian team has to play a neat cricket didn't paves the way for politics, ego or any other things. If they prove the unity they will be the Champions of ICC World Twenty20 2009.
India squad
MS Dhoni, G Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, RA Jadeja, KD Karthik, Z Khan, P Kumar, PP Ojha, IK Pathan, YK Pathan, SK Raina, I Sharma, RG Sharma, RP Singh, Yuvraj Singh
Ireland squad
WTS Porterfield, AC Botha, JP Bray, P Connell, AR Cusack, DT Johnston, WK McCallan, JF Mooney, KJ O'Brien, NJ O'Brien†, WB Rankin, PR Stirling, RM West, AR White, GC Wilson†
